Full Time • Milk Can Diner - Greendale
Milk Can Diner is a brand new, elevated Diner concept launching in Greendale in late summer 2021 and we are looking for an experienced and talented Line Cook to help lead our opening team!  We are expanding on the established Milk Can Hamburgers brand to develop a full-service diner with a 100 seat dining room, full bar, and 50 seat patio. In addition to the Milk Can brand’s existing burger, chicken and custard program, this location will feature brunch and dinner entrees offering a unique twist on classic diner favorites.

We are looking for this position to begin work prior to the Diner opening at our sister restaurant Bass Bay Brewhouse in Muskego for training with the company, and to work with our Culinary Director to assist in finalizing the menu. 

General Responsibilities
  • Prepare all menu items following recipes
  • Comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations
  • Maintain highest quality and standards of food production

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • ServeSafe certified (preferred)
  • A fundamental understanding of professional cooking
  • Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced work environment with a good attitude
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands
  • Night, weekend and holiday availability
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable transportation
